We endeavor to maintain stock on all of our products. However, especially with new products, sometimes it is difficult to gauge the demand. For that reason, it can happen that our current stock is depleted before more arrives. We always show our current inventory amount alongside each product to keep our potential customers informed.
When our "In Stock" quantity drops to 1, it is possible that you could place an order for one of the last remaining "In Stock" items, and actually miss getting it, because someone else actually bought it before we could update the quantity. (We update our "In Stock" quantities at the end of each business day.) If you are worried about this happening, but would like the part if it is available, you may email us and request that if one is available, we hold it for you. If one is available, we will let you know and hold it for 1 day. (While holding it we will decrease our published stock quantity by one unit.) Of course if the quantity stays at 1 for a couple of days, most likely we have one in stock to ship you.
When an item becomes "Out of Stock", we always put the expected arrival time for more product. When the E.T.A. is less than 4 weeks, we will generally still permit you to purchase the item if you desire. This way, as soon as more arrive, it will be shipped to you. Since we use PayPal to collect the payment, you may notice that you are immediately charged for the item, even though it may not be shipped to you for a few weeks. We would have preferred to bill you when the item ships, but PayPal does not offer us this service, so you are charged immediately. However, if during the time you are waiting for the "Out of Stock" item to arrive, you decide you do not want it, simply email us advising us of your desire, and we will refund your money through PayPal's refund option. (You will be refunded the entire cost of that item plus any shipping charges.) When the E.T.A. is more than 4 weeks, or if we have some doubts as to when we will actually get more parts, we will sometimes remove the "Add to Cart" button, so that you can not purchase it. We of course will continue to update the expected arrival date, and if you wish, will e-mail you when more are available for purchase.
Note: If your order is for various items but includes an "out-of-stock" item, your entire order will ship together once that item is back "In Stock".
