Chin Spoiler for the Honda Shadow Sabre

CruiserFX has finally pulled off our most ambitious Sabre improvement to date!

Cover up a lot of ugliness and add a dramatic new look to your Sabre with this 20 gauge steel chin spoiler. No, this is not a flimsy piece of plastic nor a brittle piece of fiberglass. Our chin spoiler is made from welded steel construction. No doubt you'll agree that the gloss black powder coat finish and the grained stainless steel grill are a winning combination! Or perhaps you want to have your spoiler custom-painted to match the rest of your bike. (In case you were wondering, it weighs about 4 pounds. If it bothers you to add this weight to your already overloaded cruiser, perhaps this would be a good reason to go on a temporary diet.)

No, this is not simply an air scoop for the bottom of the radiator. We didn't want to bring more attention to an area that already needed to be forgotten, we wanted to cover all of it up! The result is a look that reminds you of the chin spoiler on the Honda Rune but it covers up more of the Sabre side like the Corbin spoiler. (Unlike the Corbin product, ours is not so rounded since our desire was to funnel air into the radiator giving the chin spoiler function, and not simply be a fancy radiator cover.)

Installation is easy! No special tools are required. If you have a stock Sabre, it should take you about 30 minutes to install this beauty! Just remove the stock plastic radiator cover, loosen the horn bracket and swing your horn down a little and you are ready to pop this baby on. Install three screws and you are ready to cruise on towards the sunset.

Concerned about the amount of air that will reach the radiator? Don't be! The grill has been designed to allow more air flow than the stock cover. In addition, the aerodynamic property of the chin spoiler permits greater air volume to reach the radiator while reducing wind turbulence.

Note: If you have added any custom parts to the frame down-tubes such as foot pegs, horns, etc. you may have to remove them to use this chin spoiler. (The CruiserFX Neck Covers are compatible with this chin spoiler as you can tell from the photos.)

The chin spoiler is currently available in two versions. Standard, and the same spoiler with chrome edge trim installed on both sides, or unpainted. Yes you can call me a hypocrite, since the chrome edge trim is made of plastic. (Though they are both beautiful, I personally prefer it with the chrome edge guard. Of course, you'll notice I also have the chrome edging on my gas tank.)
