Exposed ugly weld! What were the designers thinking!!!

The 1987 thru 1996 Shadow 1100s had a nice cover that hid the frame neck welds from view. For some strange reason, the subsequent model designs no longer came with a nice cover. As a precision fabricator, I couldn't believe that such a beautiful bike could have such ugliness exposed!

Still, if you own a Sabre, Ace, or Aero you have a lot of reasons to be proud. But how many times has someone pointed to the frame neck and asked you; "What happened there?" No longer do you have to endure such thoughtless remarks.

Anyway, you've suffered with that unsightly frame weld long enough. Some neck covers offered by others actually do not cover the unsightly welds in this area of the frame. Our frame neck covers have been carefully designed to make your neck as attractive as the rest of your bike.

This item will fit the following motorcycles(s):

bullet

Honda VT1100: Sabre (2000 to 2007), Aero (1998-2002), A.C.E. (1995-1999), A.C.E. Tourer (1998-2001)

Item # 022 for Highways bars have been tested with Cobra and Lindby Bars.

(They should also work with other bars.)

Note: Will not fit the 1987 - 1996 "plain" Shadow VT1100. Also, will not fit the Spirit 1100.

Frame neck area

The neck cover we designed for the Sabre is much more than a frame neck cover. It covers twice the area of the original plastic cover. More than just hide the ugliness of this area, add a new look to your bike! They are made of chrome plated or glossy black powder-coated steel (not the cheesy plastic that others would have you put on your bike!)

Installation is simple. No tools needed! Takes about 20 minutes to install. All neck covers include a printed installation sheet with photos showing the proper way to install them. They are attached by means of a special fastening system and can easily be removed for cleaning. Note: A printed copy of the installation instructions is included with each cover. We make them available ahead of time to allow you to know the installation procedure before you buy.
