Exposed ugly weld!

What were the designers thinking!!!

Well, we may not know what they were thinking, but CruiserFX worked long and hard to come up with a solution. Not only do our chrome covers hide that huge bead of weld, but they also tie in the chrome handle-bar area with the heavily chromed engine.

While some manufacturers might offer you a plastic neck cover for a slightly lower price, our covers are made from beautiful 20 gauge, chrome steel (not plastic). If you had the choice between plastic or steel (for $25 more), which would you choose?

Our covers have a narrow black rubber edge trim that provides the perfect transition to the black factory paint of the frame. The covers are not flat! They are gently curved and after mounting conform perfectly to the subtle curves of the existing frame neck area. These covers are thin enough to blend in with the frame members, yet thick enough to stand up to a lifetime of riding. You get a left side and right side cover. These covers will no doubt become one of the most important additions you make to your Raider.

Installation is simple. The covers are attached using the two screws that hold the center plastic cover. No tools are required (our kit includes the only wrench you will need.) Should take you 5 or 10 minutes!

We hope that the following photos will show you why your Raider needs these covers.

We hope the 'before' and 'after' photos help.

Well at this distance, the ugly weld is much smaller, but wouldn't it be nice to tie all that headlight-area chrome to the rest of the bike.
Oh yes, that does the trick!
