Ordering

 

We stock what we sell! Some popular motorcycle accessory suppliers (such as cruisercustomizing) only stock certain items in their warehouse. Many other items ship from their "partners" warehouses. Frequently this practice results in many products being unexpectedly "back ordered" after you place your order because their "partner" did not let them know that their stock of a certain product had been depleted.

 

Such sales strategies allow these larger distributors to offer a very large assortment of products, since they do not have to maintain an actual inventory of each item they sell. We mention this, not to dissuade you from buying from them, simply to point out that if you have experienced frustration in purchasing from such companies, rest assured that your buying experience at CruiserFX will be different!

 

At CruiserFX we do not follow this business model. If we list an item as "In Stock" it is actually on the shelf in our warehouse in Colorado and ready to be shipped to you. (We do not depend on any other "partner", and will never offer that as an excuse for why a supposed "In Stock" item you ordered was actually out of stock.)

 

 

What it Means for CruiserFX to be Verified by PayPal:

To become Verified, a PayPal member in the United States must provide us with proof that he or she has opened an account at a bank or other financial institution. Because these institutions are required by law to screen account holders, PayPal's verification process increases security when you pay parties you do not know. Please note that PayPal's verification system does not constitute an endorsement of a member, nor a guarantee of a member's business practices. You should always consider other indicators when evaluating members, including length of PayPal membership and reputation scores (on eBay or other auction sites, if applicable).

 

Common Questions:

How do I place an order?

Find the product you want on our "Products" page and when you are certain you want this product, select the "Add to cart" button alongside the product. When you are done selecting items, select the "View Cart" button, which will allow you to confirm your order, before "Checking Out".

 

What payment methods do you accept?

Use any major credit card or even your personal check via the PayPal online payment service. You do not have to be a member of PayPal to use this service. There is no additional cost to the purchaser for using PayPal. Through this service you can use personal checks, or credit cards to make your payment. important: At the present time PayPal seems to accept some of the new prepaid credit cards, though in the past they often did not accept 'Gift Cards'. So if you try to use a prepaid credit card and PayPal rejects it, don't be too surprised. If they except it then ... awesome!

Note: When you use a personal check through PayPal, it will take 3-5 business days for PayPal to release the funds to us. (Your order will not be shipped until that time.)

Do I have to pay sales tax?

Customers outside of Colorado do not have to pay sales tax, at the present time. Orders shipped to Colorado require that we collect the local sales tax.

 

How long after I place my order will it be shipped?

Most orders received before 1:00PM MST (3:00PM EST) will ship the same day! We endeavor to ship all orders for "In Stock" items within 2 business days after receiving the order.  At CruiserFX our "business days" are Monday through Friday, not including holidays. If your order includes an "out-of-stock" item, your entire order will ship together once that item is back "In Stock".

 

Product Availability

Alongside each product we sell is the current availability. For example, if the status is "In Stock", this means that within 2 business days, your order will be packaged and shipped out. Occasionally at time of checkout, you could be informed that the item is actually "out of stock". This may happen when the in stock quantity was very low. and that the quantity has reached 0. (see Out of Stock page for further details.) The fact that we manufacture most of the products we sell, allows us to continually replenish our stock.

 

Multiple Orders Received Together

Sometimes, right after submitting your order you remember that you forgot to order a certain item. In that case go ahead and place another order. We will combine the two orders into a single order and refund the extra shipping charge when the order ships.

 

Order Status

When your order ships, we will send you an e-mail, giving you the USPS or UPS shipment tracking number (if one is available) which will allow you to find out where your package is, and when you should expect to receive it. (Note: The USPS does not update their tracking info as often as UPS does.)

 

Back Order Policy

We do not have any items that allow you to "Back Order' them. (It puts us under extra pressure which we would rather avoid.)

 

Do you offer a printed catalog of your products?

We do not have printed catalogs for a few reasons. By keeping it "online", we can continually keep things up-to-date. Also printing and mailing catalogs would add overhead to our business which would force us to increase our prices.

 

Image and Typographical Errors

We check our information very carefully before updating our web site; however, an occasional error may occur. Therefore, we reserve the right to correct any inaccurate information including pricing without notice.

 

 

Additional information regarding PayPal:

 

Refunds:

If you are issued a refund and you used your PayPal account to make the purchase, when you are issued the refund it will be credited to your PayPal account. If you did not use a PayPal account when you made your purchase, the refund will be sent directly to the credit card you used for your purchase.

 

Shipping and Billing address:

PayPal expects the shipping and billing addresses to be the same. If you want to ship to a different address, then include your ship to address in the "message to seller box" found on the PayPal checkout page.

 

When you don't have a PayPal account:

Near the bottom-left of the first PayPal checkout page, you will see the statement:

"Don't have a PayPal account?"

'click' on the word Continue and you will be brought to the payment page.

 

Please note: When you make a payment to PayPal, the seller will be listed as "CruiserFX". On your credit card statement will appear "PAYPAL*CRUISERFX".

 

When paying via personal check through PayPal, it will usually take three business before your check clears. Once your check clears, PayPal notifies us and we will then ship your order.
