Cancellations, Returns and Warrantee Information

 

 

How do I change or cancel an order?

If you want to make changes please contact us right away. To add to an existing order that has not been shipped please call or e-mail us or place a new order online and add a note to the order comments field to have us combine both orders. (If after adding to an order, you now qualify for free shipping, we will make a price adjustment and credit the difference back to your PayPal account.)

 

How do I return an item?

If you are returning an item because you ordered the wrong item, just changed you mind or for any other reason within 30 days of receiving the item, simply ship it back to us. You do not need prior authorization to return it. For our records, we ask that you include the reason you are returning the item.
 

Return Details:

 

example 1:

You are returning an item because you ordered the wrong item, or just changed your mind. If within 30 days you would like to return an undamaged product that will be returned in the original packaging material we will take it back and we'll refund you your total purchase cost of that item once we receive and inspect them. You are responsible for the return shipping cost.

 

example 2:

You are returning an item because you changed your mind even before you have received the order. In this case, when you receive it, return the unopened products. When we receive and inspect them we'll refund you your total purchase cost of those items. You are responsible for the return shipping cost.

 

example 3:

We make an error on the item(s) we ship to you. For example, you ordered item A-35 and we sent you item A-36. In this case, we will happily incur all shipping costs relating to the error, including shipping the incorrect item back to us and reshipping the correct merchandise to you. Please contact us right away (email orders@cruiserfx.com) so that we can determine if you should return the incorrect item. (We may let you just keep it!)

 

example 4:

We send you a defective item. Please contact us right away (email orders@cruiserfx.com) and describe the defect. If the item was in fact defective, we will happily incur all shipping costs relating to the error, including shipping the incorrect item back to us and reshipping the new item back to you.

 

example 5:

You would like to return an item because you damaged it during installation or ruined it because you wiped out and gave your bike (and some of our products) a severe case of "road rash". We cannot accept the return of these items.


 

Additional return details:

If your order included a free t-shirt for having spent $200 or more and the value of the item you are returning brings your net order total below $200, you must of course return the free t-shirt since your order no longer qualifies for the free item.

 

Please ship the items back to us prepaid and with the proper packaging. For your protection, make sure to insure the package. We cannot be responsible for lost or damaged packages.

 

In cases where CruiserFX is paying the cost of return shipping an item, once we have received the returned item, we will issue a PayPal refund of the cost of the return shipping.

What are your product warranties?

All CruiserFX manufactured products are warranted for 6 months from invoice date. (T-shirts and other promotional merchandise are not included.)

Chrome-Plating:
All CruiserFX chrome products are warranted for 6 months from invoice date. Items found to be defective, within the warranty period, will be replaced at no charge. If the chrome plating fails after installation, CruiserFX will not be held responsible for any labor cost under any circumstances. Please use caution when installing chrome-plated items, the finish is very fragile. Follow our installation instructions carefully to avoiding damaging your accessories during the installation process.

Note: Small imperfections in the chrome finish are not considered defective chrome. If you are unhappy with the plating right out of the box, please return it immediately. DO NOT INSTALL THE PART! If you discover a defective part please contact us right away.
